- 1Open the Claude desktop appIf you do not have it yet, get it at claude.ai/download.
- 2Click Customize in the sidebarThen click Skills.
- 3Click the plus button, then Create skillThen choose Upload a skill.
- 4Pick the file you just downloadedoc-private-equity-toolkit.zip.
- 5Check it is switched on, then go back to workDrop in a teaser or a portfolio pack. Claude picks the right workflow on its own.
If there is no Skills sectionOpen Customize and switch on code execution and file creation. Skills do not appear until those are on. This is the most common thing people hit.
Do this once before you rely on itThese will ask for your mandate, your thresholds, and your return hurdles rather than assuming them. That is on purpose. Give it twenty minutes once, put in your real criteria, and save them in a Project. After that it runs without asking.
What these will not do
They produce memos, question lists, and analyses for a person to review. None of them makes an investment recommendation as though it were a decision, and none contacts anyone. Check every number against the source before it reaches a committee.
